The Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology in Korean (MATPK) degree program offers an opportunity for students to study the theories and practices of transpersonal psychology. The program prepares students to apply this knowledge to a range of professional and community settings.
자아초월 심리학 석사 학위 한국어 프로그램(MATPK)은 학생들이 자아초월 심리학의 이론과 실제를 공부할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 이 프로그램을 통과하는 학생들은 공부한 지식을 다양한 직업과 커뮤니티 환경에 적용할 수 있도록 준비할 수 있습니다.
The program is designed for transformative learning, integration of transpersonal and wisdom principles, and development and application of skills for personal and professional contribution1. According to O’Sullivan, transformative learning fosters enhanced awareness and consciousness in people, communities, and frames of reference. It encourages the vision of alternative approaches to living and posits the possibility of social justice, peace, and joy. Students are guided in their cultivation of leadership skills, self-knowing, and professional consciousness.
자아초월 심리학 석사 학위 한국어 프로그램은 변형적 학습(Transformative learning)원리를 적용하여 자아초월적 원리와 및 보편적 지혜의 원리를 통합하고 학생이 자기 개인 및 직업적 차원의 삶 속에서 이를 적용할 수 있는 기술을 습득하고 계발할 있도록 설계되었습니다.1. 오설리반(O’Sullivan)에 따르면, 변형적 학습은 사람, 커뮤니티의 인식과 의식 및 그 기준의 틀을 향상시킵니다. 이는 삶에 대한 대안적 접근 방식에 대한 비전을 제공함과 더불어 새로운 사회 정의와 평화, 기쁨의 가능성을 제시합니다. 학생들은 리더십 기술, 자기 인식, 직업 의식을 함양할 수 있도록 지도 받습니다.
The MATPK is an online program. Some online courses may require participation in synchronous teleconference sessions. The program includes two Special Topic Seminars MTP7201 which are required of all students.

Curriculum as Journey 여정으로서의 커리큘럼
The MATPK curriculum is designed as a journey that includes scholarship, experiential learning, integration, increased consciousness, transformation, spiritual practices, creative expression, embodiment, and application of transpersonal education in service to greater communities. Faculty members facilitate whole-person instruction in a dynamic format within a close learning community. There is a high level of group discussion, participatory learning, and shared experiences. Instructors guide students in setting goals that enable them to make contributions to their families, communities, and professional fields.
MATPK 커리큘럼은 학문, 체험 학습, 통합, 의식 향상, 변형(transformation), 영적 실습, 창의적 표현, 체화, 더 큰 공동체에 대한 봉사로서의 자아초월적 교육의 적용을 포함하는 여정으로 설계되어 있습니 다. 교수진은 긴밀한 학습 커뮤니티 내에서 역동적인 형식으로 전인 교육을 진행합니다. 높은 수준의 그룹 토론, 참여학습, 경험 공유가 이루어집니다. 교수진은 학생들이 가족, 공동체, 전문 분야에 기여할 수 있는 목표를 설정하도록 안내합니다.
Students will be assigned academic advisors who guide students through their educational journey, helping them select courses that attain their academic and professional goals, and complete the program in a timely manner. Academic advisors are an essential part of students’ experience and play a central role in assisting them in finding meaning and relevance in their transpersonal education.
매 학생은 학업적 성장을 지도받을 수 있는 지도 교수를 배정받습니다. 지도 교수는 학생들이 학업 및 직업 목표를 달성하고 적시에 프로그램을 완료하는 과정을 선택하도록 돕는, 교육 여정을 안내하는 학 습 조언자 역할을 합니다. 지도 교수는 학생들의 경험에 필수적인 부분이며 학생들이 자아초월 교육에 서 의미와 관련성을 찾는데 중심 역할을 합니다.
The MATPK program can be completed in less than two years on a full-time basis. It can also be completed on a part-time basis.

The Advanced Courses allow MATPK students in their second year of study to deepen the tr anspersonal education they gained in the Core Courses during their first year of study. As p art of the Advanced Courses students complete the course MTPK9041 Transpersonal Integration Paper, which enables students to demonstrate how transpersonal education can be integrated into community service.
