Sofia University is recognized by its regional accreditor, the WASC Senior College and University Commission, to award degrees from bachelor's through doctoral level. Though united in a commitment to Sofia University's mission, vision, and values, these degrees are separated into two institutes. With a nod to our history, and in honor of a way of making change in self and others, The Sofia Institute of Transpersonal Psychology is the home for all psychology and counseling programs. Similarly, The Sofia Institute for Applied and Professional Programs acknowledges a world where economic and STEM innovation is critical to transformation and is home to business and computer science degrees.
